§ How it works

# From first call to your own system

Four steps. Here's what we need from you at each one, what you get, and how long it takes.

1. § 01 ## Step 1: Tell us what you need ### We need from you
   - Your services and prices
   - Your team, and which branch each technician works at
   - How many branches you have
   - How you take bookings today: a book, WhatsApp, or software like Fresha ### We deliver
   - A quote: the build, any add-ons you want, and yearly hosting ### Typical timeline

2. § 02 ## Step 2: We build it with your branding ### We need from you
   - Your logo and colours
   - Text and photos for your about, services and contact pages

   - Online bookings: service, technician at that branch, and time
   - M-Pesa payment at booking
   - Your owner dashboard, with your services, prices and technicians loaded in

3. § 03 ## Step 3: We launch it on your own server ### We need from you

   - Uptime monitoring from day one
   - Nightly encrypted database backups, kept off the server

   - Yearly hosting, from KSh 17,000 ### We deliver
   - Monitoring for downtime
   - A response within an hour, 5am to 8pm, every day

   Every year, for as long as you use the system

## Yours from day one

§ The system

### Built for you, not rented

Your system is built for your business. You pay for the build once. There's no monthly fee per team member.

§ Your data

### Your records stay yours

Your bookings, clients and payment records belong to your business. They're backed up every night, encrypted, and kept off the server.

### Your name on everything

Your name, logo and colours on your website, your booking page and your dashboard. Your clients see your salon, not ours.

After launch

## What happens after launch

<dt>Hosting</dt>
<dd>

From KSh 17,000 a year. It covers:

- Server
- SSL (the padlock in the browser)
- Security updates
- Uptime monitoring
- Nightly encrypted database backups, kept off the server
- Domain renewal
- Bug fixes and support

<dt>Backups</dt>
<dd>

Your database is backed up every night. Backups are encrypted and kept off your server, on Cloudflare R2, so a server problem doesn't take your records with it.

</dd>

<dt>Support</dt>
<dd>

Included while hosting is paid. We watch for your system going down, for example a Cloudflare outage or the app stopping. We respond within an hour, between 5am and 8pm, every day, and fix bugs at no cost.

<dt>Adding features later</dt>
<dd>
